The Harbour Queen Ferry is owned and operated by Glengarriff and Garnish Boat Services Limited. It can comfortably accommodate up to 60 passengers for the short duration of its 15 minute trip to Garnish Island through the secluded waters of Bantry Bay. The ferry is fully wheelchair accessable and special concessions may be available for students, old age pensioners and accredited photographers.

The safety of the boat is monitored by the Department of the marine in Cork with regular inspections taking place annually.
