<p>The Super Motor Yacht AIR paid a visit to Glengarriff Harbour and moored off Garnish Island. This luxury boat was launched last year and is reported to cost a mere €750,000 a week to charter! </p>
<p>Complete with helicopter, cinema, swimming pool and an impressive observation lounge this is definitely one of the classier visitors we&#8217;ve had this year!</p>

<p>Garinish (<em>Garnish</em>) Island is home to one of the most amazing gardens in Ireland. Visit these gardens aboard one of our fully licensed ferries. The Harbour Queen Ferries provides a regular service to the island. Ferries depart from Glengarriff Pier every 30 minutes during the season (April 1 &#8211; October 31). Our fleet of ferries are purpose built enclosed waterbuses which will whisk you to the island in safety and comfort.</p>

<p>We&#8217;re looking forward to a wonderful season in 2012 the team have been working hard to ensure the gardens are in tip top shape for this season. </p>
<p>The Gardens are opening on the <strong>1st April </strong>and in the meantime the <a href="http://www.harbourqueenferry.com" title="Garnish Island Ferry">Garnish Island Ferry</a> will be running some harbour tours and trips to see the seal colony in the bay. The weather is amazing right now and it&#8217;s incredible to be out on the water&#8230;</p>

The service can accommodate tour groups of any size as we operate a fleet of covered waterbuses on a scheduled shuttle to the island. Our ferries are fully licensed by the Department of the Marine and our crews are highly experienced professionals.</p>
<p>The trip to the gardens on Garnish includes a magical wildlife cruise to Seal Island where your group will see the wild seal colony and be able to take great photos of seals basking on the rocks, diving for fish and popping up their heads in curiosity! The backdrop to the trip is very beautiful as Glengarriff Harbour is a beautiful tranquil bay with stunning mountain scenery.</p>
