Harbour Queen Ferry Services was established in 1970. It is owned and operated by Glengarriff and Garnish Island Boat Services Ltd and is the longest operating ferry company in Glengarriff.

Our fleet of ferries includes 3 purpose built enclosed water buses which are licensed to carry 45, 50 and 56 passengers.

“Visited this little gem during a 3 day break with pals. The boat trip across takes about 15 mins and the boat operators make sure to let everyone on board get a view of the seals that we passed on the way out. The island itself is just wonderful and visitors are free to roam (within COVID-19 guidance). We spent a lovely hour walking around and enjoyed a coffee and muffin afterwards while waiting on our return ferry. This is a must if you are in the area.”
